Ferdinand is about a year old and has really come out of his shell. You can tell when he's happy because he literally smiles at you and shows his cute little vampire teeth. He plays a lot, but still wants to be loved on.
He does well with kids, dogs, other cats, and especially loves hanging out with other bros. He adores his foster Dad and human foster brother, and is accepting more and more pets daily from his foster Mom because he knows where the food comes from. He would need to go to a home that has a friend, or take one home with him - maybe his foster siblings Enyo or Yikes?
Ferdinand is FIV+, which means he has a weakened immune system, but cats with FIV can live for many years without serious symptoms. FIV is hard to transmit, and is most often transmitted by biting; as long as there is no fighting to the point of deep puncture wounds, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that are negative for the virus with minimal risk of transmission. It cannot be transmitted to humans.
