At under a year old, Felix has really been through the wringer with 3 failed adoption attempts and 1 abandonment...none of which were this boys fault. As a kitten, Felix was pitched from a car and found on the side of 11/15 with a face full of gravel. The kind folks who found him brought him to castaway critters and Felix grew up a happy, playful, super inquisitive kitten at the Blue Dog Pet Shop. Despite his trials, Felix always seemed to glow with a positive light and everyone fell in love with him. In fact, his first adoption was secured right away. However, after a few months in his new home, the family dog was still chasing and harassing Felix and the tough decision was made to bring him back to the rescue. His second adoption fell through due to the adopter's unexpected medical crisis. And he was returned again when an adopter decided Felix might not be the best fit with his dog. Felix does well with the shop dog at the Blue Dog, but we've decided that given his experience with other dogs, Felix should be in a dog free home. He's always done well with cats at the shop and he enjoys playing hard with the other cats. He still has lots of Big Kitten Energy. In his first adoptive home and at the shop, Felix has proven to be quite a lover. He lapsits. Sometimes likes to be held, and, often, if you aren't paying enough attention, he will paw at your shoulder and meow for love. Felix is a large stunning cat and he can be found for meet and greets on his throne (cat tree) near the entrance of the Blue Dog Pet Shop.
