Felix came to us with five other cats from a hoarding situation. The vet believes he is approximately 5 years old.
He gets along with cats, we're not sure about dogs or kids. He seems pretty easy-going, though, so would probably do ok.
He does have a heart murmur but there is nothing to be done for those in cats so it just needs to be monitored at his yearly vet visits.
Felix has struggled with Upper Respiratory Infection symptoms since we got him. We have tried several different antibiotics, had a respiratory panel done and he did test positive for mycoplasma and feline herpes. Most cats have feline herpes. With him, he might always have symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing. He might have flare ups during times of stress. This doesn't that he won't live as long as any other cat or that he doesn't have a good quality of life.
