Fat Jasper

Fat Jasper isn't really fat - he's just fluffy! Jasper is a gorgeous Maine Coon with big BLUE eyes and a long brown tabby coat. He's a real looker!

Jasper was taken into CAT a couple years ago and was in foster care for a while, because he was too thin and wouldn't eat at the shelter. He is a sensitive boy! His foster mom just loved him. After he had gained some pounds and de-stressed, Jasper came into the shelter and found a new home. His new family said, "Great cat! Like a lap dog! SO loving, kind and snuggly! Loves to sleep with you, great with kids!"

Unfortunately, after being in his new home for a couple of years, Jasper began to urinate outside the litter box and his family reluctantly returned him to CAT. We are not sure why Jasper started doing this, but it may have something to do with the children in the home, or it may be related to the fact that he is declawed. When he was in foster care for 6 months, Jasper always used the litter box, and Jasper has always used his box at the shelter. Jasper continues to charm everyone he meets. He will sweetly snuggle up and nuzzle your face, then gently touch your face with his soft little paw. Ah! What a sweet guy! He surely deserves another chance at a loving forever home!
