Everly was adopted several years ago with a foster sibling and we thought all was well. Unfortunately, the adopter put Everly and Bronx in a dog cage and dumped them at the front of Pet Alliance before they even opened. We do not know how long they were there. Thank goodness the staff noticed upon arrival to work and called us up immediately. We arranged transport and got them back into our care right away. They hid at first and were so scared. This was not the same disposition of our babies when they were adopted. Even understanding cats can change attitudes and demeanor over time, they were traumatized. Everly came out of her shell sooner than Bronx, who is still taking his time to come around. She is up to date on vaccines again and ready for adoption at PURe Joy Cat Cafe!
