Meet Evelyn & Brandeis!
Evelyn, the tiny tortoiseshell, was a lone little kitten who was being advertised as a ‘Free Kitten’ on a social media site. We picked her up immediately and were thrilled to discover how friendly and healthy she was! She is confident, energetic, and so happy-go-lucky! She loves life and doesn’t show an ounce of “tortie-tude!” Evelyn loves to play – she’ll entertain herself with toys or seek out one of her foster siblings. She’s a big fan of bear hugging them and nibbling at their ears. She also loves lap time with her foster mom.
Brandeis is the handsome tabby boy. He was rescued from Brooklyn this past winter where he was living in deplorable conditions in a basement cage with his mom before he joined our rescue group.
Brandeis is on the shy side but has adjusted well to indoor life. He is a HIGH energy goofball! Despite his small size, he sounds like an elephant when he bounds through the house. Brandeis absolutely loves chasing his foster siblings but he’s especially fond of Evelyn.
While they are not true siblings, we feel these two would be happiest in a double adoption as outgoing little Evelyn is a good influence on her wary friend and they genuinely enjoy each other’s company. We always ask that kittens be adopted in pairs.
Brandeis is 5.5 months old, neutered, microchipped, FELV/FIV negative.
Evelyn is a bit younger at about 10 weeks.
*** They will be available to come to their forever home the last 2 weeks of May, after Evelyn is fixed and microchipped! ***
