Looking for your next best friend? Meet cuddly, social, and loving Essie. Essie was found next to a median on the Eisenhower expressway. It was a very dangerous spot for anyone, let alone a small kitten. He was hurt, skinny, and scared. Our only guess is that he was abandoned there, sentenced to an awful fate. Thankfully, someone passing by in a car saw him, and thus began Essie's journey into Forever Fortunate Felines. From the moment of rescue, Essie proved himself a lover. He has big purrs for his small body that immediately begin the second he sees a human. He is VERY stranger friendly and wanting to become BFFs with everyone he meets. He loves to climb in your lap and smush himself against you, waiting for you to scoop him into your arms for a long cuddle session. Essie is constantly in a state of believing he's attention starved which, honestly, he probably was before rescue. Essie is generally playful, and we suspect he will soon enough start becoming a very playful little guy. He likes to explore, but makes sure you're always in sight. He's the perfect little guy!
