Sweet Esmeralda is a magical kitty looking to share her affection with you. She enjoys meaningful conversation and the company of adults, but is a bit wary of children, and so would do best in a quiet home. Esmeralda wish is to find a special home where she can be the spoiled queen of the castle and not share her throne with other felines or dogs. If you're looking to spoil a feline friend ... Esmeralda is the cat for you! Esmeralda has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficienty (FIV+), which means that she has a compromised immune system. FIV+ cats can live a normal lifespan without health issues if kept indoors and given regular veterinary care (something that PBJ wants for all of our adopted cats); FIV is of no risk to people or other types of pet, and can only be transmitted between cats through a bite wound. Not a problem as she wishes to be the only kitty in your life!
