Eric Clapton

COURTESY POSTING- ERIC IS NOT AT ROAR... Eric Clapton, a handsome year old neutered gray male, that has had his rabies, FIV vaccinations, and is feline leukemia clean. We caught Eric last summer after he and his sister were living in our drain pipe. We tried to catch them both but to our heartbreak the female was caught and killed by coyotes before we could save her. Eric has made the transition from "feral" outside cat to a life of living inside with a family extremely well. He's an inside cat that uses both the litter box and scratching post. He is also VERY-VERY smart! He knew his name in TWO days! He's very affectionate and gets along great with our other cats and Schnauzer, Kip. The only problems that we have encounter between them is that Eric is young and wants to play while our other cats are older and would just rather sleep. Since we do not have children I would say Eric would be better suited with a family of older children or adults. The only downside we have seen about Eric, if you can even call it that, is that he reaches out and grabs you when you get up from petting him or sitting with him. He loves to be petted, and to play so much, that when he thinks you might be leaving him he will reach out and pull you back! The ONLY reason we are looking for a home for Eric is because we have three other in house rescue cats, feed two outside feral cats, and have a dog. We feel that Eric is So Special that he deserves a loving family that can give him a TON of love and play time he so desires. He is going to make someone an awesome buddy!
