Emmie has been with us for over a year. She came in because she was not using the litter box. After a lot of testing, it was determined she had bladder stones. That resulted in surgery to remove them. Since then, Emmie had been doing great.
Now we discovered she has a milder case of stomatitis. She had a dental and 4 teeth were removed. Now she is doing great again. Emmie will require regular dentals to keep her teeth in good shape.
She has been a real trooper. Since her bladder stone removal Emmie went from a cat that spent a lot of time in the litter box and being grumpy to a cat that now plays with toys, likes to be petted, and loves to lay in the sun. Emmie will do best in a quieter home where she is an only cat. She also needs to be on special food so no more bladder stones form.
