Emma is a delightful, petite girl who would love a full-time lap. You can see a video of her at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQau5XKCVKQ.
She spent her kittenhood outdoors as a young mother, raising litters of babies and hunting in order to feed them. Now retired, her children have left home and she is thrilled to be indoors with no worries or responsibilities. She is very agile and enjoys playing with the laser light toy; you would never guess her to be twelve years old.
Although Emma has a bed of her own, she hopes that in her new home she will be allowed to sleep on the “real bed” with her person or people. She loves a good cuddle and will reward you with purrs.
Emma is in excellent health and has a big appetite despite her tiny stature. She has received treatment for an overactive thyroid (now cured), and recently had a dental exam and cleaning. She has many good years ahead of her and we’re sure she'll bring joy to whoever is fortunate enough to adopt her.
Emma has not had experience with children or dogs, and seems to prefer a quiet environment. She would be well-suited for someone who would dote on her as an only-cat.
Emma is spayed, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up to date with her vaccines.
