Shy and timid at first, break out the Greenies and she'll let her guard down and let you pet her - even touch her toes. She likely experienced some trauma because she's easily frightened and runs if you move too fast or walk by, but with patience and treats, she relaxes fairly quickly. She loves, loves the foster home's dog, rubbing up against him and purring. While very attentive to her babies, when they're asleep or playing, she plays with dangling cat toys and gleefully rolls in cat nip. She lets the kittens swat and play with her tail, and roughhouse, then she'll announce it's naptime and the babies curl up in their nest with her. She is very vocal, chattering and meowing throughout the day. With time and patience, she will become a wonderful companion.
