Elsa

Elsa and her sister came to us, from a TNR event, as a 4 month old kitten. She was very shy and fearful at first but has come a long way. Her sister was recently adopted and Elsa is ready to find a loving home as well. She will need a patient adopter who understands it will take time for her to bond to a new person. She is very comfortable in her current foster home. Elsa gets along with some other cats well, and greets them with head bunts. She has complete trust they will welcome her caresses. She likes pets, giving little fairy kisses, rubbing around people's legs, playing in cat trees, and window-gazing from a warm kitty bed. She has the ability to bond to people as shown by her bond with her foster mom. She is ready to find a purr-manent fur-ever home, hopefully with a cat-friendly big bro or sis kitty to show her the ropes. Elsa has been spayed, microchipped, had her basic shots, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She has been deflead and dewormed. She is a gorgeous kitty and will eventually make a great little companion. She is learning new things every day. An application, landlord approval if renting, virtual safety home check, and adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and with proof of disability. Elsa is a little sweetheart as soon as she gets to know you. Indoor only. Her dainty little self would not do well outdoors unattended and free-roaming. she had a horrible experience in a foster-to-adopt placement, accidentally being let outside where she remained for two weeks. She was attacked by other cats and went without food. She was eventually trapped and brought back to the rescue. Over time she has gradually lost her traumatic responses and is again the sweet girl she can be.
