Ellie

Ellie is such a lovely girl! She has long, silky. black-and-white hair - she kind of looks like she is wearing an angora tuxedo. She is very sweet and affectionate, and loves to sit on your lap and be stroked, and give you kisses. She is quiet, and has a pleasant, non-demanding disposition.

But Ellie has one other thing that makes her distinctive - she was born with only half a back leg. The vets say that the umblical cord wrapped around her leg before while she was in the womb, and so that leg never developed. However, Ellie gets around fine, and doesn't seem to know that she is handicapped. She uses the litter box perfectly, and loves to play and run and explore like any other cat. Her missing limb makes does her gait a little unsteady, and so she could be vulnerable to agressive dogs or other unfriendly, so she would do best in a quiet, peaceful home.

Sweet Ellie is looking for a very special person to whom she can give her love, and who will give her a forever home in return. Could that person be you?

The adoption fee for this cat is $75, which includes her spaying, as well as her vaccinations (rabies, distemper/FVRCP, and feline leukemia). She needs an indoor-only home.
