Ellie

Ellie is a 5 year old female American housecat who has been spayed as well as declawed. She has a strong personality and imagines herself as the boss of any situation she is in. She enjoys kitty treats and will eat then out of your hand but when the treats stop coming she can be rather aloof. She enjoys watching normal household goings-on from high spaces, napping under the covers of just made beds and kneeding people who are enjoying a deep sleep. She is an indoor cat but is curious about the world "outside". She has made her way into the Wild a few times and seems to have faired well during her adventures and came home very proud and tired. Ellie would prefer to live in a house as the only cat as she can be a bit bossy with others. She accepts children and will even pretend to enjoy them if they offer her snacks or canned cat food. She is not afraid of dogs and has been caught teasing our pugs when she thought no one was looking. She is wonderful about using her litterbox, and eats and drinks well from her bowls. She is up to date on her vaccines and is currently on flea preventative. Ellie and her step-sister Ezme are being rehomed after five years with our family due to a work relocation issue.
