Elijah

How fitting that Elijah has the name of a prophet who was touched by an angel, because he looks like an angel. What a beautiful face, and what seraphic blue eyes!

Everything we know about Elijah fits the angelic description. According to his previous owners, he is very patient and friendly, likes other cats, is quiet, gentle, playful, tolerant, very affectionate, outgoing, and likes to be held. Whew - a wonderful list of wonderful things.

According to his owners, he was surrendered because he "didn't care for our large dogs". He probably tried to teach them grooming and manners, two things that dogs just aren't very good at. But I don't think we can hold that against a cat who is, with exclamation points - A VERY sweet cat !!

It is also said that he "loves to try to herd" his people, but most people need a little direction in their lives. I'd say Elijah is probably just trying to help them find their way!
