Eli

Eli was found abandoned and terrified at a local construction site. He was malnourished, and the workers reported that he wouldn't move. The reason quickly became apparent- he is blind, and was frozen in fear. Once he was rescued it took several months to nurse him back to health, and for him to start to become comfortable, but now he is thriving and ready for his forever home. Eli is a big boy, but he is a gentle giant. He loves to eat, but equally loves to get attention and be pet. He is very quiet and shy in new places and with new people, and he will need a patient family who gives him time to adjust. However, once he is comfortable he is curious and likes to explore. Eli is healthy; FeLV/FIV negative; has had his full series of distemper (FVRCP) and rabies vaccines; has been fecal tested and dewormed; and has been neutered and microchipped. He is fully blind, but has no damage to his eyes and it is not due to disease. He has had complete bloodwork and has no other health issues. Eli is ok with other calm cats, but has not been dog tested. He would do best in a house without young children. Eli deserves a home who will show him all the love he deserves. Can that be you?
