Elf

Meet Elf! Elf was saved by Kolony Kats back in December, after they found he was injured outside and wasn’t thriving. They took him to the vet for life saving care while also reaching out to fosters and rescues. Luckily, they found a foster and Fishtails was able to help! Elf is now medically cleared and ready to find his forever home. Elf is on a prescription food, which he will likely need to remain on for life. From his foster mom- “Elf is an extremely charming boy who will draw you in with his handsome golden eyes and inky black fur with 2 white patches, but you’ll fall in love with his smart, silly, and sweet personality! Elf loves to play! He will leap for a wand toy or do an adorable wiggly-bottom pounce in a game of fetch if you toss for him - and he will actually bring the toy right back to you and drop it for you to toss again and again! Elf is affectionate and loves company, but also does fine on his own. He loves the adults, children, and other cat in his foster home, but is afraid of the large dog. Elf’s purr machine runs constantly and he asks for food and water with an adorable little biscuit-making dance and a few happy chirps. This special boy needs special food - he eats a prescription urinary diet (which he loves!) so that he doesn’t get stones. Also, Elf is better off having 2 meals per day instead of grazing in order to make sure he stays his fittest, healthiest self.
