My Story

Egypt, like so many other kitties was born on the streets and got pregnant. A Good Samaritan found Egypt when her babies were about 3 weeks old, they were so tiny and Egypt looked skinny and tired, so she took in the family into her home and fostered them. Luckily, her babies all found homes but now it’s Egypt’s turn. Egypt is shy at first and it will take a person who understands she will need an adjustment period to feel safe. Once she knows she has nothing to worry about she will come to you and look for attention. She welcomes pets and belly scratches. She has a very calm demeanor about her and while she is still young, she does not play much. Being a young Mom took a toll on her. When her babies were adopted, she cried for a few days looking for them. Egypt must be adopted in a home with other kitties that have a calm disposition. She thrives better in a household with at least one kitty that has a sweet and calm personality. Egypt lovesss food, we think she is trying to make up for lost time in eating. She can eat a 5.5oz wet can in the am and in the pm and will eat dry food throughout the day. She is currently eating Kirkland dry and Purina Friskies wet. She likes all types of wet food.
