You probably know that lots of cats hiss and hide when they first arrive at the shelter. That’s what I did because I was nervous, but I’m really a good egg. I’m a black adult male called Eggbert! I was found in the yard of a SW Rochester home. My rescuer said that I’m an affectionate guy who loves playing with toys and looking out the window. Don’t picture that yellow bird with the big head and spectacles - that’s not me! I’m a handsome, lovable kitty boy. I may be a little skittish until I know someone. Once I feel comfortable with a person, however, I do fine with being picked up. If you love black cats - and I know a lot of you do - I’m eggs-actly the guy you’ll want to bring home to be your lovable Eggbert!
