Update on Eeyore: He is out of his shell! This boy is one of the most loving cats in this shelter. He loves attention and no longer makes you come to him. He likes to be held, he gives hugs and kisses. He will sit beside you while you work (and try to stop you so that you can pet him). He loves a great lap. He would love to have a lot more attention that he gets here, even though we give him a lot, there are not people at the shelter all the time. He gets along well with other cats. If you want a cat that is a lover, this is your boy!!!!! Eeyore lived in a loving home, but there were also dogs that lived there. He didn't like the dogs and the dogs didn't care for him. We were able to take him in and give him a safe spot. However, he is not a shelter cat and he is not happy here. He is in a room with other cats and he doesn't mind them being there, but he really doesn't interact. He is waiting for a person to give him a safe home. He may do well with dogs, but not dogs who will mess with him, even if it is to play. He loves to be petted and people are his things. He can't wait until someone will give him a chance. He knows he is not a kitten and in his situation he is not the most outgoing, but we have reassured him that there is someone out there for him.Could it be you?
