My Story

Meet Edith! Edith came into our care when her guardian was moving and could not take her along. This reserved calico cutie is searching for a home that can allow her time, space and patience to acclimate to her new environment (Change can be scary!) An avid bird watcher, Edith would be overjoyed at the opportunity to occupy your windowsill, gaze at the goings on in the neighborhood and curl up in a serene sun spot for an afternoon nap. Edith is an independent lady. An adoptive home who understand this poised kitty's need for some personal space will be rewarded with a happy feline friend who doesn't require too much of your time. Edith is playful, however, and would benefit from a mellow low-key home who can work with her on enrichment and activities to form a strong bond together as well as stimulate her sharp mind and keen senses! Do you have room in your heart and home for this shy, special sweetheart? Edith is available from an HSCC foster home. Please submit an adopter profile and contact us to arrange to meet Edith! Dogs: Edith lived with dogs in a previous home and tolerated them. However, due to her sensitive nature, she may be most successful in a home with a mellow dog. Cats: Edith lived with cats in a previous home and tolerated them. However, she may be most successful as the only cat in her home. Children: We have no history about Edith with children. However, due to her sensitive nature, she may be most successful in a home with older children, teens and adults.
