My Story

Surprise, it's a GIRL!!!! (Even we didn't know for sure until her most recent vet visit!) Eddie Christmas, aka Little Eddie, was found all alone on a country road beside a cow pasture when she was barely 2 weeks old. She was bottle fed until she decided she was a big girl and could drink his kitten formula from a bowl. He soon started wet food and kitten kibble and took to it like a champ! She loves to play with her older “brothers and sister” and thinks she is bigger than all of them! ?? She loves snuggles with her foster Momma and playing with anything she can get her little mittens on. See has perfect litterbox manners, too! Eddie's foster Mom says: “I love all my furbabies but have to warn you ~ this one is SPECIAL!! I can’t put into words what it is, but she has a special CHARM." He is purr-fect! She has had limited exposure to one dog and is cautious. She has not had experience with children. If you are looking for a tiny fluff ball of pure LOVE, Little Eddie is your gal!” Eddie Christmas has had all age appropriate vaccines and has been treated for parasites, she will be spayed and micro-chipped when she is old enough. (If he is adopted before she is old enough to be neutered, SPCHS will provide a voucher to cover the cost of neutering.) To apply to adopt Eddie Christmas, please click on the "More About Us" button toward the bottom of this page, on the right. That's where you will find a link to our adoption application. If you are not quite ready to adopt, or simply can't right now, and Eddie’s story has touched your heart, please, PLEASE click the purple "sponsor" button near the top of this page to help us cover the costs of veterinary care for Eddie and the countless others like him. We really need YOUR help to cover the cost of care of these animals. NOTE: Kittens cannot be accurately tested for FIV/FeLeuk until at least 10-12 weeks of age. S-PCHS does not allow untested kittens to go to their forever homes until they show a negative test. Applications may be submitted for review, but kitten adoptions will only be finalized when after age appropriate testing is complete. As with all YOUNG kittens, SPCHS will not permit Eddie Christmas to be adopted by a family with children under 6 years old.
