Meet Echo! This love bug loves to wake up in the morning and makes sure he greets you before his breakfast. He loves kibble & wet food of all kinds. He spends the majority of his morning playing with his siblings until he is all worn out and takes multiple naps around the day whether it’s in bed with his foster mom or sleeping on the living room couch or even in cabinets so watch out for this sneaky kitty! Echo is then later recharged and ready to show love to everybody, when he gets picked up he likes to let you know how to hold him and when to hold him only on his terms. He is a sweet goofball who loves his siblings and would be awesome with other siblings of all kinds. He also loves to do laps around the house as he chases his friends. As it becomes nighttime he starts to find his little spot to sleep - which will more than likely be your bed! He is a purr machine ready to give love and sleep with you from night to morning. Currently in foster care in South Los Angeles. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline overpopulation crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
