Dixie Lou is a 10yr old declawed spayed female. She was surrendered, along with her housemate Charlie, due to the passing of her owner. His family was worried that euthanasia was the only option due to her older age but we are certain that she will be able to find a great home. She does love attention and will stay near you as long as she is getting pets; she has really come out of her shell! When in her kennel she enjoys cuddling next to Charlie. Her previous owner took very good care of her and kept up to date on annual exams and vaccinations (Rabies & Distemper). He also fed her very well too! Dixie weighs 14lbs and since her move to the vet clinic has been put on a weight reduction diet. As far as we know she should be fine with dogs in the house as she used to live with a pomeranian.
