My Story

Darla is such a darling, hence her name :)   All she wants is to be pet, cuddled and played with.  Darla was rescued from the isolation room at the Wake County Shelter back in March - she had a little cold which she has now completely recovered from!  Her foster family have a large number of other pets and fosters. Darla is a little overwhelmed by a huge abundance of other animals; she is not at all aggressive, but gets scared and will hide if she thinks there are too many around.  However, she does perfectly around cats, kittens and dogs in smaller, calmer doses.  She would be fine in a home with a few other cats or dogs.  She loves to snuggle and be loved and petted, and she will let you pick her up and will purr as long as you will rub her head and ears.  She would love to be in a home where she can be a lap cat and cuddle with you while you watch TV or read a book.  Darla would make a great addition to a family who is ready to lavish her with the love and attention she deserves.  Estimated DOB 02 October 2009.
