For months, Dario lived in a wooded area littered with trash. He was dumped with another cat by his previous owner and lived in the woods during the cold winter months. He eluded the rescuer’s trap because he was just too scared to be rescued. He often was found sitting on an old mattress until a homeless person took the mattress. After months of living outside, we guess he finally had enough and one day he let the rescuer pick him up and place him in a carrier. He will never be homeless again! Dario is a sweet, loving cat who wants a home that will give him love and a secure future. He would do great with children and other cats with a slow introduction. We don’t know how he would be with dogs, but there is a trial period so you can see if Dario is a good fit for your household. Dario is approximately three years old. He is neutered and vaccinated for rabies and distemper, negative for feline leukemia and FIV, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50.
