My Story
DANDELION HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY A WONDERFULLY TOLERANT COACH POTATOE OF A MAN! HE LOVES HER TREMENDOUSELY! WOW! What a kitty! On 11/14/06, I went to visit my Aunt in Guys Mills PA. While there, a couple neighbors stopped in to see her, we got to talking about cats. Well, they begged me to go to an Amish farm that was a couple minutes down the road, because, the Amish family sold their farm and leaving the cats behind. They were taking about 15 of them when they moved to Illinois in January. (However they did not take the rest of them, which is about 20 more. I was told that the barn is loaded with dead cats and a few ferals that are starving now.) So, I go to this farm, in the barn, there are approximately 30 + cats and kittens, all very hungry, they were eating a little bit of dog food and chicken feed (corn), that was spread for the chickens and the dog. Well, my Aunt took in 4 of the kittens and needless to say, I took in 4. They claimed that Dandelion (and Funny Face), are wild, but, they are totally not! When I brought them to my house, they scarfed down 3 cups of Science Diet and they didn't drink, but, they sure did love the food. Dandelion has slept most of the time, only to look up and get a good rub down as often as we can get to. She is a sweetie, she is approximately 12 months old, FeLV/FIV (-) and looking for a home that she will never have to scrounge for love and food and care again! You would not be making a mistake to take this girl home!!! She is about 13 pounds, she is very solid in build. She is orange and white, her character is a riot, she is not bossy, but, she follows you and sleeps on your chest. She really likes men, ecspecially men that like to lay on the couch and watch football, golf, baseball and basketball. Lets face it, Dandelion was born to be a couch potato. She is vaccinated for FeLV/FVRCP, Rabies 1 year and Bordetella. If interested in Dandelion, please feel free to call the telephone number below her picture. Today is 11/15/06. Updated 2/5/08.
