Cyrus

Meet Cyrus, a super friendly kitten who has been diagnosed with mild ataxia which is a neurologic condition that affects his balance and coordination. It does not affect his day to day life in that he still runs, jumps, climbs and plays just like any other kitten. Cyrus just does it with his own style of weebling and wobbling. He is not in any pain and his coordination is not expected to get any worse. He has a super outgoing personality and is a huge cuddler. Just making eye contact with him will start his purr motor running. His favorite things are toys he can chase, climbing to the top of the cat tree (carpet covered ones work best for him), cat tunnels and his super soft fluffy cat bed that he loves to knead and nap in. He spends part of his day in the basement (he has no issues climbing the stairs) playing with other foster kittens and part of it upstairs where he interacts with the resident puppy and cats, coming and going as he wants. He will definitely need another animal in the house that he can play and bond with. His condition does not affect his ability to use a litterbox. You will still want to trim his claws but not too short as he does use them when climbing and jumping to steady himself. All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. They will be spayed/neutered and microchipped as part of his adoption fee.
