If you're looking for the best cat ever, look no further you just found him!
Cuffs is a very sweet 1-1/2 year-old male Manx breed kitty who is great with children. Manxs have natural bob-tails, so his tail was never cut off! See the picture of his tail, its really unique! Cuffs favorite past time is being with people. He will follow you around like a puppy dog. He loves people. He will quickly steal your heart and has become the favorite of many of our volunteers. He is a lap cat though, so would like to find a home where someone has some time to give him some snuggle time.
Adoption preference will be given to homes without dogs and to homes with one cat or less. You see, Cuffs excels at claiming his own territory and enjoys having the run-of-the-house. Cuffs would make a great pet for someone who is looking to get thier first and only cat! Is that you or someone you know?
Visit our website at www.smawl.org and fill out an application on Cuffs to get the adoption process started. Email it to
[email protected] soon, because he won't last!
Pet Adoptions
Have you been thinking about adding a pet to your family? Why not save a dog or cat in need of a home by adopting from the St. Mary's Animal Welfare League?
All of our animals are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on shots. The adoption fees are as follows: Dogs-$150, Cats-$125. This tax deductible donation helps to cover the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, health checks and other medical needs. Download an application at www.smawl.org and email it to the contact address for the pet you are interested in adopting. Please be patient as our response time may be slow. Our entire organization is run by volunteers. We have no paid staff, so we must return phone calls and emails around our full time jobs and families. We will be in touch as soon as possible though. If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, feel free to email us again incase your previous message was not recieved. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work hard to save the homeless animals of St. Mary's County!
