Meet Cricket! Cricket was found wandering the streets of South Philly, obviously out of place and in need of help. Luckily, our friends at Get a Gato were able to find her a foster, allowing the rescue to take her in. Cricket is looking for a home where she has a friend, as she has made it clear in her foster home that she needs a companion. From her foster family – “Cricket loves to play with wand toys, bouncy balls and catnip toys. She is an expert at playing fetch. She’s very sweet and when she’s in the mood will cuddle up on laps for a long snooze. When she purrs she sounds just like a cricket, hence her name. Cricket really wants to play with our cat Mariposa but Mariposa does not appreciate her kitten energy. Cricket will probably do well with another young cat in the house. She isn’t afraid of our elder pup Coqui but Coqui would rather have nothing to do with her. Cricket seems to want to be her friend.
