My Story

Meet Crank! Crank is a domestic shorthair male kitten. Crank is neutered, up to date on vaccines, felv/fiv negative, litter box trained, microchipped, and adorable! Crank was found in a dock truck at 3 weeks old and hand raised. He was raised around dogs and has zero fear of them. When Crank was found he had a broken front right leg. He was too little to do anything about it so the vet advised monitoring and seeing how he did. Crank hasn't let it slow him down a bit! He plays, runs, climbs, and is hard to tell from his littermates. He was recently neutered and Xrays were taken off his leg. The break has healed but the leg has permanent damage and he can't straighten the leg. We had a board certified orthopedic surgeon look at the Xrays and Crank. He does not advise amputation of the leg at this time. Crank runs, plays, and does not have any pain in the leg. We can not predict if he will need the leg amputated in the future but at this time it is unnecessary to do so. If interested in learning more about Crank please email his foster at [email protected] In your email please include information about yourself, home, current pets, past pets, vet clinic, and what you're looking for in a new pet. Thank you
