Our goofy gorgeous Corey. She didn't start out that way. Once again humans showed their horrific cruel side -- Corey was literally thrown into the trash. At a gas station. But, once again human compassion WON. In the right place, in the knick of time. Her rescuers, one of our foster families, had to dumpster dive to get her out. Corey was under so much trash. She'd been there awhile. She was so tiny. Her worm-filled belly was bigger than her head. Corey was tough. With love and vet care, she survived. After her ordeal, though, it took her awhile to adjust to kindness, being healthy, all of it. Just like human kids, she had to figure out she was really safe. As Corey came into her own, her true self emerged. An amazing huntress, she hooks a pesky fly in mere seconds. On the very off chance Corey loses sight of said pesky fly, her human is required to carry her throughout the house until she spots it again. She is something! Curious Corey is an avid climber and wrestler. When she's not busy showing off her athleticism and playing with foster siblings, Corey loves finding a soft blanket and lots of pets from her family. This little girl is the 'queen' of napping! She also thinks big, friendly dogs are cool. Corey is a sweet, wonderful cat who would love a home to call her own. ? You need someone to 'help' you make your bed, right? ? Corey's your girl! A happy kitty, Corey is a big-time player despite taking about 500 naps daily. She loves to explore and relax by a sunny window. Cutest little sleepy head. ? Corey is a loving, active girl (when she's awake ?). She loves climbing, wrestling with her foster friends, loves the dogs in her foster home, will seek out a warm blanket, and always comes to her family for pets before bedtime. Gorgeous Corey would love to be your new best friend. Young, busy and beautiful Corey looooves to play. She's an avid climber and soccer player - and is always up for a wrestling match with foster siblings. Corey's very fond of the dogs in her foster home, too. When it's time for bed, Corey is eager to find a warm blanket and plenty of pets and cuddles. Corey loves sleeping, sunbathing and watching birds through the window. She's wild for kitty soccer, athletic as all get out. She loves being loved. She loves her life. Thanks to our incredible foster family, Corey has one. We all need reassurance that human kindness can triumph the worst of human cruelty. Corey's story is a beautiful example of just that. She is so ready for her forever family to love her wonderfulness, as she will, in turn, embrace theirs. ????? Corey is good with dogs, other cats and kids.
