Hello sweet COOPER!! COOPER was found wandering the streets in the Bronx, famished and scared. We were able to easily pick him up and carry him inside. Once inside, COOPER immediately started showing us his SWEET personality, accompanied by those beautiful, big eyes! He is talkative and you will often find him happily chirping away. He loves his petting sessions so much that he has been known to give a little love bite if it ends too early. COOPER has remained true to his original personality when we first rescued him! COOPER is talkative, social, calm, and snuggly. Most of all, COOPER is lovable! He will make an amazing companion! COOPER is FIV positive. FIV basically means that his immune system is not as strong as other cats. Cats with FIV can and DO live healthy and long lives! No medication required. FIV positive cats can live in the same household with other cats, as long as they get along. FIV only spreads through deep bite wounds. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit, provide a brief video (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full.
