Contessa the cat

Hi friends, I'm Contessa, and I'm searching high and low for my furever home! I was with my daughter Hanna when sadly, our owner passed away, and we were released into a neighborhood about a year ago. This entire experience has caused a lot of heartache for us, so 'm looking forward to getting back to a life of love, stability, and trust. I'm a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair female weighing in at 10 pounds. I've been spayed already, as well, and my health is A-OK. I like to spend my days sleeping in quiet spaces throughout the house. It can take some time for me to come out of my shell, but I'm working through my trust issues that developed from my past. I am happy to be by a window to look out and watch the world go by. I am an independent lady, very low maintenance, and would be happy with a safe home to call my own with a nice owner that leads a calm, quiet life. My ideal household would be one who is patient and one who will give me unconditional love by allowing me to do my thing and chill! I love to find a spot to sleep and loaf at my own leisure. I would be most happy in a home without any other cats, preferably no dogs, a comfy cat bed, and provided with pets (and love) on my own terms.
