My Story

*** Cody is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. *** Cream/orange Siamese mix, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/20, #19005 Cats: comfortable Dogs: unknown Children: gentle kids fine Cody was found on the streets trying to fend for himself. He was getting his food with a group of homeless cats who were being fed by a caretaker. She noticed that Cody was quite friendly; wanting him to have a better life, she scooped him up, and from there he was connected with a Rescue House foster home. Cody is a sweet boy who likes to have his face and neck rubbed. That feels so good! Like many cats, he takes a little time to adapt to new situations and appreciates your patience while he figures things out. Mealtimes help with initial connections, for Cody is very food-motivated: he and his foster had such fun together that she taught him to sit up and beg (SO cute!) when she brings out a fresh dish. When it's time for a lengthy nap during the day, Cody may open up the sliding door of a closet and settle himself on a shelf in there, providing his own form of blackout curtains. Cody is easy to handle and such a good boy; he'll make a great companion! Cody gets along with other cats and is fine with gentle children of all ages. We don't know his thoughts on dogs. Will you adopt this handsome boy?
