My Story

Coco and his brother Chanel were born March 17, 2024 to a feral mom and missed out on some early socialization. They are still very shy, but having settled in at the shelter they are coming around nicely. At four and a half months old, they are young enough that they will blossom in a home that is willing to work with them and patiently gain their trust. Coco is the shyer of the two brothers; he is nervous but very sweet. He will prefer a quieter home without young children (teens and older are fine) and energetic dogs (calm cat friendly dogs are likely OK). Being under 6 months old, Coco will have to be adopted with his brother or another kitten unless the home already has another cat or dog. Coco has his age appropriate vaccinations but is too young to be neutered. He will have to be returned to New Hope for his neuter, microchip and remaining boosters when he is old enough; the cost of this is included in the adoption fee of $200. If you are willing to open your home to this cute but shy boy, please contact us at 519-836-9780 (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm only) or by email at [email protected]!
