If so, then 8 year old Cleo may be the perfect fit. She is calm and acclimates well, and she gets along great with other cat-friendly pets. Cleo is very affectionate and has a gentle and sweet demeanor that instantly draws people in. She is a beautiful cat inside and out! This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and the little one. After that, we will make arrangements to have the pet transported by van or flown to the Seattle area. The process of arranging the travel and getting the animal here, on average, takes 2-4 weeks, depending on availability of the transporters and your availability to meet them. We understand this process is not as easy as walking into a shelter and immediately adopting a pet, but getting animals out of Houston and the surrounding areas is the only viable chance many of them have, so we appreciate your understanding. We do not accept ANY adoption fees ahead of the pet's arrival, until the pet is with you. We also understand adopting a pet you have not seen in person can be a bit worrisome, especially if other animals are involved. During the adoption process we do our best to convey the personality and allowances of each pet. This is where the foster's involvement is vital. The fosters have the animals often for an extended period of time, and have gotten to know them well. In saying that, not everything is predictable. If things are not what you expect, we have resources on the Seattle side to take the animal back. If possible, we would appreciate, if the situation allows, for you to foster the pet until a new home is found. If that is not possible, we also understand that, and will take them back regardless. Cleo is up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has been spayed. Cleo's adoption fee is 175.00.
