My Story

Cinder is a medium haired, orange tabby born on September 24, 2007. He LOVES your lap and SNUGGLING in your lap, so he can roll over on his back and fall asleep. Cinder likes lots of attention (once his initial timidness is conquered), belly rubs, ears massaged, chin scratched…all the while he’ll be purring his gratitude. He also uses lap time for undivided attention and won’t share his human’s lap with the other cats in his foster home and has a funny way of chasing them off. Cinder jumps up and starts brushing against his feline friend softly and carefully. Then he begins to push harder until the other cat leaves. He likes cats and dogs - provided the cats don't have a strong personality in either a fearful or an aggressive way. Cinder likes to play with laser lights and what is called the rod and reel (a stick with a string). He can be a touch boisterous at times, and his different meow makes all the sounds feel like you are carrying on a conversation in a melodic musical. Cinder does well with staying off the cupboards and scratching where he is supposed to. He would prefer not to be in a home with young children due to his fears of loud noises and fast movements. Cinder has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLuk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Cinder in his foster home. His adoption fee is $125. (J&JJ)
