My Story

Meet Cilantro, an adorable girl kitten rescued from a backyard in East New York along with her sister Coriander (available for adoption) and mama Cayenne (who's already found her forever home)! Cilantro is a white kitten with black spots. At four months old, she is so sweet and loving but also independent. She has an adorable round face and loves to play. Cilantro loves wand toys, ping pong balls, and toy mice. She loves her foster human, sleeps in bed with her, and climbs into her lap for naps. She will also make biscuits and do anything for a Churu! She's super chatty and will have a kitty conversation with you if you talk to her and ask her questions. She will chirp from another room to say hello and figure out where you are or when she wakes up from a nap. Her foster mom says, "It's too bad someone is missing out on this magical time with her" since she hasn't gotten adopted yet. Cilantro is spayed, chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She must be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat, or can be adopted with her sister Coriander. If you're interested in meeting her, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you mention Cilantro, and identify Claire as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
