Cici

This pretty lady is Cici! CiCi’s story begins outside an apartment complex where she was born in the spring of 2023. She got along with other community cats in the area and slowly made her way to her future foster. At first, she was hesitant to step foot indoors, but in February 2024, she made a visit to her foster home where she has remained since. Once inside, her foster noticed Cici was pregnant, and she gave birth to 4 perfect kittens in March. Cici was a young mother and anxious about the process. Still, she was the best mom she could be, guarding her babies against the big scary world and getting them ready to find forever homes of their very own. Cici is now transitioning into becoming the cat she never got to be in her own kitten hood. She still needs time, guidance, and patience to fully adjust to the glamorous indoor life. Cici likes to bird watch while perched by a window sill. She has a very watchful eye and likes to keep tabs on everything that happens in her foster home. She is a very calm and patient cat that will happily mentor younger cats if she has the opportunity. She will not tolerate bullying or mistreatment from her foster siblings. She will be the first to act if need be and is not afraid to put another cat in their place. Cici was brave as a mama cat, bringing herself and her babies to the right place to ensure them all bright futures. However, her trust must be earned by the humans that come into her life. She is skittish about being picked up and does not like to be aggressively approached. Cici is not aggressive and would simply prefer peace and solitude amongst anything else. She loves treats, and they are a great way to bond with her. Once comfortable, Cici is happy to join you for some play time or a nice petting session. Cici is good with other cats. She doesn’t have any experience with dogs. She doesn’t have any experience with kids, either, but with slow introduction and enough treats, her foster mom thinks she could do well, at least with older kids.
