Cicero - Available from Foster

Meet Cicero! Cicero came into our care at HSCC as a stray from our community, after possibly being displaced from a neighborhood home. Cicero spent some time outdoors before coming into our care. This special shy guy has been spending his days in a foster home to allow him plenty of time and space to decompress and settle into a home as a indoor cat! Much to our foster's pleasant surprise and satisfaction, Mr. Cicero made fantastic progress with his socialization in their home and is now ready to find his own domain! Cicero enjoys playing with wand toys, gazing out the window and rubbing up against your legs from time to time for a little love and affection. With time, patience and a soft touch- this cat will surely make someone very happy! Cicero is FIV positive. He should be kept indoors only and we recommend that FIV positive cats have regular veterinary examinations, be dewormed regularly, and stay up to date on vaccinations. Your veterinarian may also recommend regular bloodwork. Could you have room in your home and your heart for a sensitive and spectacular new feline friend? Dogs: Cicero has been exposed to dogs from a distance and may tolerate a calm, friendly dog in a home. Cats: Cicero has been exposed to cats and seems to tolerate them well, but seems fearful and avoidant of very boisterous cats. Cicero is FIV+ but can live with other cats if everybody gets along well! Children: We have no history about Cicero with children.
