Chorizo

Meet handsome Chorizo (which means sausage in Spanish.) His mother came to us from a hoarding situation and was heavily pregnant when she was rescued. Her babies were born in foster care and grew up around a large number of other cats. The babies are now ready for adoption and are looking for homes with other kitties that they can become friends with. Chorizo is a little bit on the shy/quiet side, but he’s playful with his friends and is cuddly once he gets to know you and is tired out. He likes to play with his friends, and is often found hanging out with his sister, Pina. He would love to be adopted either with his sister, with one of his friends, or into a home where there are other cats that will hang out with him. He could fit well into a home with a younger, playful cat, or with an older cat that would prefer to cuddle. Chorizo is a good mix of both, but he’s not too rambunctious, so a younger, playful friend would have to respect his boundaries and not overwhelm him. Chorizo needs a home without children. While he doesn’t have much experience with dogs, Chorizo’s mother hates dogs and seems to have passed this dislike onto her kittens. Therefore, a dog-free home will be ideal for him. Chorizo is a really cute, super fluffy kitten who turns a lot of heads, but due to his fluffy coat, he will need a family that is willing to groom him regularly.
