Choji is a very sweet cat who was formerly outdoors until he was rescued and taken to a vet because of multiple injuries. He is estimated to be 11-years-old.
Choji is FIV+ and lame in his left front leg. Radiographs didn't show signs of a fracture, but the lameness could be due to a previous injury. He also has some broken teeth, but none seem to be bothering him at this time.
Because of his history, Choji is easily startled and reacts to sudden movements by hissing, biting or clawing, but becomes loving again once the perceived danger has passed. He would do well with a cat savvy person.
At the time he was taken to the vet, he had a puncture wound and abcess, along with fleas and ear mites. All have been treated. Choji is looking for a nice indoor retirement home where he doesn't have to worry about daily survival!
