Chloe

Chloe is a beautiful and sweet girl with some of the softest fur that desperately needs a loving forever home. She is about 2 years old and has been to the shelter twice. She came in as a kitten and was sick, they treated her and adopted her out to what they thought was a forever home. Then this month she ended up back in the shelter because they said she was fearful and quit eating. We quickly pulled her into rescue to see if we could help her start eating again and evaluate exactly what she was fearful of.

We quickly discovered that Chloe is a big sweetheart that just needs an understanding owner. She loves attention and loves to snuggle at night. However, she gets nervous if you try to approach her and will run and hide. She just prefers that you give her attention on her terms and not yours. We are not sure if this is just her personality or if something happened to her to make her like this. Either way she needs an owner who is willing to let her be herself and teach her that she doesn’t need to be scared.

If you are looking for a cat that isn’t needy but would love to snuggle up with you at night, then Chloe is your girl! She does well with other cats and a calm dog that doesn’t chase her.
