CHEYENNE (Spayed!)

CHEYENNE has been at the shelter since June 2023 when she arrived with her mother. She started out as a 5 to 6 week old kitten and now she is an adult. Unfortunately, she was not adopted at an early age and given proper socialization, and she has remained somewhat shy. However, we are now at the summer of 2024 and she has been turning quite a few corners lately! She has begun to welcome pets down her back and she likes her head scratched. She still does not want to be picked up, though you can do it for a short while. Thanks to HART, a local cat rescue group that assists the shelter, CHEYENNE has now been spayed and that means that she can go home the same day that she is adopted. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking an adult size cat carrier with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt her. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
