My Story

Chester, a feral cat with a broken leg, was finally trapped in March after over a year of attempts. He had been in so much pain, but now he's happy and shows his appreciation by leaning in for pets and booping his head into hands. He's a small cat with soft fur and is surprisingly fast. Chester has no issue getting around but would appreciate some help jumping to his favorite spots. Adopting a former feral cat like Chester requires a little patience, but the reward is huge. Feral doesn't mean mean or vicious, just scared. Chester will continue to learn he's safe with you, but needs a little help. His ideal home has another cat and people who will set up a room as a home base for him. Chester will eventually join the whole family, but may run to his safe spot if startled. Loud and sudden noises can be overwhelming, so a home without young children is preferred. Chester has met dogs and accepts them. His adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and deworming, and some food. He is all ready to find his forever family! Chester was born in September of 2020 and is just about 4 years old. Please email us at [email protected] for an adoption application form.
