MEET CHEESE! Aptly named, Cheese is a beloved orange treat! Here at the shelter Cheese has been a delightful guy - sweet, friendly and all around lovely. If you're a fan of orange boy cats (and let's face it, if you're not, you're missing out) Cheese will not disappoint! Come meet Cheese at our Boston location! Please note that Cheese has tested positive for FIV or feline immunodeficiency virus. Many cats with FIV will have a normal lifespan. Because FIV is spread via bite wounds between cats, there is a risk that an FIV positive cat can transmit the virus to other cats in a household. If you have another cat at home, please contact his or her veterinarian to discuss whether Cheese would be right for your household. Cheese is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Cheese or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
