Cheddar is a sweet, shy guy. Give him a little time and he will be your best friend, with the exception of his brother Cojack, who is his BFF. These two are a bonded pair, double the love, double the fun.
He still hides from loud noises and fast movements, but he is still very young and will get over this with slow, loving care and affection.

- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.

We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.
The $125 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
