Meet Checkers, a stunning tuxedo cat with an estimated date of birth of February 20, 2022. This beautiful feline boasts a sleek black and white coat, exuding classic elegance. Checkers, along with Mittens (a grey tabby tuxedo), came to Colony Cats on February 20, 2024, after their previous owner moved away and left them behind as outdoor strays. Thankfully, a kind neighbor recognized that these lovely cats were not meant for outdoor life and brought them to the shelter. Checkers is spayed, fully vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Although she is petite and may appear shy at first, she has a gentle and sweet disposition that shines through once she feels secure. This playful 2-year-old girl loves engaging with wand toys and showing off her hunting skills. She's also a fan of butt pats and is always curious about your activities.
